Day 1 – Vietnam Tour With National Parks: Arrive – Hanoi Sightseeing Tours

Pick up at airport and transfer to hotel. Free stroll around to explore Hanoi’s 1000 Years Old Quarter (if time permits). Stay overnight at hotel.

Day 2 – Vietnam Tour With National Parks: Hanoi – Cuc Phuong National Park Adventure Tours (B/L/D)

Adventure Tour in Cuc Phuong National Park

You will be picked up at your hotel in Hanoi for driving to Cuc Phuong, about 140 km south of Hanoi by road, is one of Vietnam’s oldest national parks and consequently one of the best managed. It’s approximately 22, 000ha of subtropical forest and karst limestone scenery, and home to an extraordinary range of unique species. Apart from exploring the forest, you’ll visit the park’s Endangered Primate Centre, where you’ll be able to see two of the rarest species in the world, the critically endangered Delacour and Cat Ba langurs. Stay overnight at National Park guest house. * Note: The best time to visit Cuc Phuong is from October to May. Avoid the summer as the parks biodiversity includes a large contingent of leeches that get hungry in hot humid weather. April to May sees clouds of millions of butterflies spiralling in pockets of sunshine.

Day 3 – Vietnam Tour With National Parks: Cuc Phuong National Park – Hanoi (B/L/D)

After breakfast, walking to visit flora, fauna and one-thousand-year-old sequoia tree, the cave of Prehistoric man in Cuc Phuong National Park. Have lunch in the Park restaurant. Turn back to Hanoi for flight to Hue. Stay overnight at hotel in Hue.

Day 4 – Vietnam Tour With National Parks: Hue Package Tours to Bach Ma National Park (B/L/D)

Depart at 08: 00am from your hotel, for one and half hour you will arrive at Bach Ma National Park. The park is dominated by a single 1, 448m peak wrapped in tropical monsoon forest below and topped by sub-tropical vegetation. You will visit Do Quyen Waterfall – is astounding and huge in the wooded mountain. It is more than 300m high and 20-30m wide. It is amazing to watch the silver water running into the bright red of water-rail flowers. After lunch, we will walk to Hai Vong Dai – Sea Observation Post. Where people can have a panoramic view of immense sea and surrounding scenery. Stay over night at park’s guesthouse. *Note: The best time to visit is from December to September, the leeches make their appearance in October and November.

Day 5 – Vietnam Tour With National Parks: Bach Ma National Park Trekking Tour – Hue – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D)

Morning in the park with walking around and discover the nature to explore the beautiful scenery and many endemic species, and is particularly rich in birdlife. Turn back to Hue airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Stay overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 6 – Vietnam Tour With National Parks: Ho Chi Minh City – Nam Cat Tien National Park (B/L/D)

Nam Cat Tien National Park

Drive to Nam Cat Tien National Park, 170km from Ho Chi Minh City in Dong Nai Province. Once off Highway One, the road passes through large areas of rubber plantations before branching off the highway on a rough track to the national park. An incredible diversity of birds and mammals, live in the forest and wetland habitats of Nam Cat Tien, including an estimated 230 species of birds. Endangered birds to be found here in thier dinner. The Afternoon is spent birding along the road from the park headquarters. Overnight in Nam Cat Tien.

Day 7 – Vietnam Tour With National Parks: Bau Sau (B/L/D)

Have a 4×4 drive to Bau Chim and Bau Sau areas, staging points for the day’s trek. Trek for two and a half hours deep into the forest. In Bau Sau, canoe around a lake, then trek back to the parking lot for the drive back to the guesthouse. (Optional night 4×4 ride into the Nui Tuong forest to look for nocturnal animals). Overnight at the guesthouse.

Day 8 – Vietnam Tour With National Parks: Nam Cat Tien Trekking Tour – Ho Chi Minh City (B/-/-)

Have a lazy morning of yourself to write your diary or to continue exploring the park. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 9 – Vietnam Tour With National Parks: Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B/-/-)

Free until time transfer to airport for flight back home. Tour ends.
