Pick-up at Pleiku Airport after a late flight from Da Nang. Drive to Pleiku City for your overnight stay.

After breakfast, drive through the beautiful landscape to Kontum. Stop to explore the colourful culture of the J’rai people at Pleiphun Village. Enjoy a brief walk around the village to see the daily activities of the local people and visit a traditional house and an impressive graveyard with decorated statues. In the afternoon, visit Kontum, which is home to a wooden cathedral, seminary, museum and suspension bridge before returning to Pleiku. En route, visit Bien Ho (“Sea Lake”) which is an archaeological site that was once a volcanic crater.

In the morning, drive to Buon Ma Thuot City. In the afternoon, visit the Ako Dhong Village of the Edeh tribe and the Trung Nguyen Coffee Village famed for its coffee culture and its agricultural and Central Highland people museum. Tasting the well known coffee of Vietnam in origine. Free to relax and explore the town.

After breakfast, drive to Lak Lake through vast coffee plantations. Lak Lake (Ho Lak) covers 600 hectares in the rainy season, but shrinks to 400 hectares surrounded by rice paddies in the dry. It was once full of crocodiles, but these have long since found their fate as shoes, handbags and taxidermied monstrosities. Join in the activities of taking an elephant trek through Mnong hill tribe villages, enjoy a dugout canoe ride on the pristine Lak Lake and take in a traditional ‘gong’ show – Vietanm world tengible heritage and dance performance of the Mnong tribes. Transfer to Buon Ma Thuot airport for a late flight to Ho Chi Minh City.
